Presence is the doorway to connection…

Laura-534 - Version 2.jpeg

I am an LMFT (MFC18894) who has practiced psychotherapy for more than 40 years. These decades of sitting with the human soul—its wounds, its brilliance, its longing to become—are woven into everything I now offer as a facilitator and mentor. My background includes training and teaching in compassionate communication, psychology, cross-cultural healing perspectives, mindfulness, and compassion-cultivation methods. I have also served as a resident psychotherapist in intensive meditation retreats, where contemplative practice and deep relational presence naturally merged.

Today, this long arc of therapeutic experience lives at the heart of my work. I bring an integrative, soul-attuned presence to my facilitation and mentoring—grounded in skill, shaped by years of practice, and illuminated by a passion for transformation. My offerings blend teaching, individual mentoring, coaching, and psychospiritual processes, inviting others into pathways of healing, awakening, and embodied wisdom.

“This being human is a guest house.
Every morning a new arrival.

A joy, a depression, a meanness,
some momentary awareness comes
As an unexpected visitor.

Welcome and entertain them all!
Even if they're a crowd of sorrows,
who violently sweep your house
empty of its furniture,
still treat each guest honorably.
He may be clearing you out
for some new delight.

The dark thought, the shame, the malice,
meet them at the door laughing,
and invite them in.

Be grateful for whoever comes,
because each has been sent
as a guide from beyond”.
